A good friend from the east coast was recently in town for a medical meeting. Though she usually gets her Botox/Dysport injections from numberous excellent, world famous aesthetic physicians closer to her home, she asked if I would inject her with Dysport at the meeting after the live injection teaching sessions. Immediately following the meeting, using her own resources she traveled to a swing state far from her home, working to help get the vote out for Obama. I usually ask patients that I have injected for the first time to let me know how their treatment is within 48 to 72 hours to make sure that the desired result has been achieved. Tonight I received a message from her which made my day: “Best compliment ever–I was chatting with one of the Romney lawyers this evening who asked me how old I was (TACKY!) I told him I was 42. He was shocked and said I was “well preserved”. I gave him your name. Holy cow it’s late–about to go back to the hotel.”
The moral of the story is if you want your candidate to win in future elections, feel free to contact us about a little Botox or Dysport. On the other hand, the patient’s result may not matter; we didn’t treat winning VP Joe Biden. Be well!
