00.01 – Migration of injectibles and fillers
00.32 – Precautions to be taken after treatment
For the most part, injectibles and fillers do not fortunately migrate in the face. There are some cases of neuro modulators such as Botox, Disport or Zeeman that have been injected too close to the upper eyelids and that has affected the upper eyelids in the area where we didn’t inject it.
Most fillers do not migrate so I don’t think patients really need to worry about that. We sometimes do ask patients who have quite a bit of filler injections to sleep on their back and avoid sleeping on one side of their face for a few days after the treatment.
