Michael A. Persky, MD and Sarmela Sunder, MD are honored to be among the faculty of the international multi-specialty symposium, “The 8’th Annual Vegas Cosmetic Surgery 2012″ event at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas June 6 through June 10, 2012. Dr. Sunder will be presenting “A Review of Proper Patient Selection, Premedication and Technique for Focused Ultrasound Skin Tightening Procedures”. Dr. Sunder will share Persky Sunder Plastic Surgery’s experience with treating over 175 patients with Ulthera over the past 14 months.
Dr. Persky be leading a Masters Seminar with Kevin Duplechain, MD (Lafayette, LA) entitled, “Traditional CO2 vs. Fractional CO2 Resurfacing—Which One, When, and Why?” Dr. Persky will discuss and share his experience over the past 5 years with Fraxel repair laser skin rejuvenation and acne scar treatment. Dr. Persky is also part of an all new “non-surgical track” in aesthetic medicine and rejuvenation, the Device and Technology Forum. His presentation is entitled “Is There a Role for Non-Surgical Lifting in a Surgical Practice and What is That Role?” Dr. Persky will share beauty secrets and discuss the use and role of Ulthera in his practice. Dr. Persky is also honored to be the moderator of the “Masters Seminars” covering the subjects of emerging nonsurgical technology and techniques for lower face, chin, and body contouring; cosmetic rejuvenation of the hands; blepharoplasty; and facial volumizing and the art of analyzing facial aesthetics.

We are looking forward to hearing about the latest 1 to 2 year results with the cellulite laser, Cellulaze, from some of the earliest users of the technology. Cellulaze is a minimally invasive laser treatment that reportedly treats cellulite with lasting results. When presented at last years meeting, it was reported that over 90% of Cellulaze patients were still happy with their results one year after their treatment. We hope that the results are still positive, and that Cellulaze meets our practice criteria of being both safe and effective. If so, we may be incorporating the treatment into the practice.
Please don’t get us wrong, it won’t be all fun and games.
