Dr. Persky was privileged to appear on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio last week with the talented, caring, and lovely Dr. Doris Day (Dr. P asked to be referred to as “Cary” as in Grant, but the shows producers balked at his request). Dr. Day is an excellent aesthetic dermatologist in Manhattan, New York and is the host of Doctor Radio’s Dermatology show on Thursday evenings. After discussing their coincidental 21’st wedding anniversary’s, the physicians had an informative discussion about Ultherapy by Ulthera.
Dr. Persky shared his experience with the cutting edge ultrasound technology that lifts and tightens the skin and muscles of the neck, face, and eyebrows (as well as other areas of the body). Dr. Persky also shared the patient experience from beginning to end, and the high patient satisfaction rate in his practice. It has been found that the combination of Ulthera with Sculptra gives a synergistic (the sum of the treatments is greater than the individual parts).
Dr. Day and Dr. Persky spent the last 10 minutes of the show taking calls from listeners. The calls included Nick from Nebraska who described an allergic reaction whenever he is exposed to cold. After Dr. Day advised Nick on how to best take care of his problem, Dr. Persky added that if Nick ‘s allergies were leading him to appear tired then an Ulthera treatment might just perk him up. The second call was from Michelle in Louisiana who described her bed bug problem. After Dr. Day told Michelle how to best take care of her multiple bed bug bites, Dr. P added that if she looked tired from the bed bugs biting and keeping her up all night, then an Ulthera treatment may just be the right treatment is get her appearing rested and healthy.
I only added these details because we were a bit late in announcing Dr. Persky’s appearance on Doctor Radio.
