00.12 – Recovery time for Otoplasty
Following Otoplasty when the bandages are removed, we can usually see a dramatic change in the position of the ear and the shape of the ear.
There is some swelling for a few weeks after Otoplasty so it can take two to four weeks to actually see the final result. In some cases if there is some excessive swelling, it may take a couple of months for the ear to settle down.
But for the most part we can see quite dramatic results after Otoplasty almost three to five days after the procedure when the bandages are removed.
