00:55- He shares how results with darker skin always fade to normal;
Fraxel repair can be used for all skin types, varying from the lightest skin to the darkest skin; We find that results are better in lighter skin. With darker skin, we are worried about the post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation where the skin gets little bit darker; We have found that in cases of post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation, eventually, the darker skin always fades back to normal; We can’t tell you exactly how long it’s going to take; So if a patient is particularly bothered about scars, then it is ok to have fraxel repair with the knowledge that there may be a little longer recovery time.
