Maintenance is extremely important after any procedure. I gave a talk on what is beauty and I was interviewing people and I asked the waitress ‘What do you think beauty is’, and she said that comes from the inside, that comes from the heart, and then, her co-worker came up to me and said ‘it is maintenance’; and I thought that was a frank true answer. No matter what we do to improve one’s beauty, maintenance is so important. After a laser procedure, it is important to use good skin care products like sunblock to avoid sun exposure. After surgery, it is important to use those things as well. So, maintenance is essential to maintain the great results that we can give patients in facial plastic surgery.
