00.01 – Advantages of mini facelift
00.20 – Complications in full facelift versus mini facelift
One of the nice things about a mini facelift is that it can be performed in the office under local anesthesia without the patient having to undergo a long general anesthesia. So that decreases the risk associated with the surgery to a great deal.
Also the dissection is deeper and wider in a full facelift versus the mini facelift so there is more concern about complications with the full facelift versus the mini facelift, complications such as bleeding, swelling, not really infection but nerves can be at a greater risk for deep facelift than a mini facelift.
