00.01 – What is the Ogee Curve
00.35 – How to restore the Ogee Curve
There’s been a lot of talk about the Ogee Curve. It is OGEE. We actually say Ogee a lot while we’re treating patients and recreating the Ogee Curve.
The Ogee Curve is when you’re look at a patient on a three-quarter view, there should be a soft S kind of curve from the eye through the cheek down to below the cheek. And I’m sure there’s going to be a little diagram of that with this video that you can look at and stop this and look at that.
But as we age, we lose volume in our face and the Ogee Curve flattens out. With Voluma and with Sculptra we are able to recreate the Ogee Curve in such a manner that it looks natural and beautiful. So a lot of people, particularly my nurse, when we are injecting Voluma will say Ogee but not about the Ogee Curve but we’re recreating the Ogee Curve when we’re treating the cheek and lateral cheek area.
