When the nose bone is shaved down during rhinoplasty, how do you get out the shavings?

Dr. Persky’s reply: Large pieces of bone and cartilage are removed with forceps, smaller shavings are suctioned and sometimes rinsed out. Do not try this at home! Choose your rhinoplasty surgeon carefully and leave the rest to your surgeon. Good luck and be well.
