Am I a candidate for Emsculpt if I have a titanium hip replacement?
A. Most Emsculpt providers recommend not treating patients with metal implants close to the treatment area. Others believe that titanium, unlike metal implants, does not conduct electromagnetic energy, and will treat patients with titanium. At this early time in the use of Emsculpt it is better to err on the side of safety.
