Best option for loose abdominal skin that can only be seen when stretched? (Photos)
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: I have some loose skin on my lower abs from having 2 kids, it’s not noticeable unless I’m bending over or if I press the skin together. It really bothers me though. What’s the best treatment? I did have a consult at Light Rx for fat on back of my legs and they recommended Venus Legacy for that, as for my stomach they recommended Soft Wave. I am signing up for 10 treatments of the Legacy for fat on back of legs. Softwave is expensive. Won’t Legacy work or Morpheus8?

Dr. Persky’s Reply: Those darn babies! They are worth it, but they do a number on the body. The best non-invasive treatment for the loose skin on your abdomen is a combination of a collagen stimulating injection with a device that heats the skin. My preference is either Sculptra or hyperdilute Radiesse to stimulate collagen growth, and either Profound RF, Venus Freeze, or Ultherapy in that order. It may take multiple treatments, but we have seen nice results. The good news is that when your children have their babies, your abdominal skin will not be affected!
