Hi! I was planning on aging gracefully until this picture lol. What would you suggest for the lines and pores? I have done Forma skin tightening which I didn’t think did anything and PRP injections which I think maybe sort of helped. Filler wears off right away on me and laser did not benefit me in any way. I also would like to avoid botox. Thanks!
A:You have a very common complaint that I frequently successfully treat in my patients. Pores are a difficult problem to solve, in fact prior to a recent treatment added to my practice I would tell patients “the only improvement for your pores will be in your next life.” Fortunately today we have a safe and effective treatment for pores. I would recommend my “Brazilian Skin Boost” treatment with an automated injection system call Medi-Inject. Medi-Inject allows me to inject minuscule consistent amounts of an individually formulated solution into your skin at the same level immediately below your skin and pores. In your case I would likely mix PRP, 30 units of Botox, 1 cc syringe of hyaluronic filler, and Vitamin C. The mixture is placed in a syringe and it is precisely injected with the Medi-Inject system through a tip that has 9 adjustable tiny needles that inject while the skin is pulled into them. The entire face and neck can be treated in a short period of time. The treatment involves a day or two of redness and the results are visible within a few days. Once you are treated I would place you on a regimen of Retinol. Oxygen infusion facials are also helpful. Fraxel restore laser is also excellent for fine lines and pores.
