Can I combine a PRP and Profound treatment?

I am going to get a Profound treatment on my face in a couple of weeks. I would like to combine this with a PRP treatment. Has this ever been done? I am thinking it might boost the effectiveness of the Profound treatment.
A.Great question, in fact in our practice we now routinely recommend that patients combine their Profound RF treatment with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). When apatient arrives on the day of their treatment our nurse draws a small tube of their blood in a special PRP tube which is then centrifuged to separate the patient’s red blood cells from their plasma (the yellow part of blood serum which is concentrated with platelets.) Profound RF uses micro needles which cause microscopic holes in the skin through which the platelets in PRP seep into, attracting growth factors and possibly stem cells which result in greater rejuvenation from the treatment. You are correct in believing that PRP will boost the effect of your Profound RF treatment. Good luck and be well.
