Can I do 2 PRP treatments and move onto PRF for under eye hollowness?
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: I’ve done two PRP twice for my undereyes to improve dark circles and hollowness. Then I realized that PRF is apparently the better option for hollowness. Would it make sense to move onto PRF or should I continue with my final treatment of PRP? I know you need three sessions to show results, but I’m wondering if one more round of just PRF would suffice.
Dr. Persky’s Reply: I would advise switching over to the EZ Gel PRF treatment under your eyes. Only time will tell if one treatment is enough. I would re-evaluate your situation 3 months after the PRF treatment. Good luck and be well.
