Can I get an abdominal Emsculpt treatment before or after breast augmentation (within a day or two)?

A.It would be best to wait until you have completely healed from your breast surgery prior to having Emsculpt, or you could choose to have a complete 4 sessions Emsculpt treatment before surgery. It would be okay to have the final of your 4 Emsculpt treatments a day or two before your breast surgery. Good luck and be well.
Emsculpt is contraindicated in patients with metal implants because they may heat from the electromagnetic energy and cause a burn. If your IUD is completely plastic then it would be safe. I would not treat you if there is silver. We have had patients who had their IUD’s removed prior to their Emsculpt treatment. In that case, unless your looking to have kids, use an alternative method of birth controll. Good luck and be well.
