Can I get HA dermal filler before Morpheus8 or SylfirmX?
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: Hello, I am planning to start Morpheus or Sylfirm microneedling shortly for acne scars. I also wanted cheek filler but I have heard these procedures can cause the filler to dissolve or to migrate. Is this true? Should I wait until after the RF procedures to get filler or safe to do it before? I definitely don’t want migration. Thank you!
Dr. Persky’s Answer: It’s usually better to have a skin tightening procedure prior to fillers. Some fillers are okay along with a radiofrequency treatment such as Profound Rf, Morpheus, or Sylfirm. Sculptra and hyperdilute Radiesse are bio-regenerative injectables that are fine to have at the same time or prior to RF treatments.
