Can Sculptra Be Injected Into the Lips?
A. Sculptra is an excellent facial volumizer. It works by stimulating your body to make new natural collagen where it has been injected. There are areas where Sculptra should never be injected and the lips are one of those areas. Sculptra is injected deep to muscle and over bone in most facial areas. When injected in areas without underlying bone, Sculptra is injected beneath the skin. Sculptra is not injected in the lips or superficially around the eyes because unwanted lumps and bumps can form. We prefer to inject lips with Juvederm, Restylane, and Restylane Silk, all of which in our hands results in natural beautiful lips.
