I have a weirdly shaped upper mouth. Is it possible to put filler in the area beside my philtrum to even it out more? I want to make the area more smooth. Could it also be possible to do some tiny liposuction to my philtrum to even it out more that way? If neither of these is possible, what should I do about this issue if anything?
Dr. Persky’s reply: I would inject hyaluronic acid filler in your area of concern under your nose and around your philtrum. I would advise you to not mess around with any micro-lipo suction in the philtrum area as that may lead to difficult to correct problems in the future. Choose your injecting physician most carefully.
