Daxxify Expert Los Angeles…Preparing for Daxxify – Are there certain aftercare instructions I should follow?
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: Is there any type of aftercare that I should follow after Daxxify injectables like icing or massaging the area, avoiding certain activities or certain products? What should I expect the healing process to be like?
Dr. Persky’s Answer: Daxxify patient instructions are identical to the instructions given to our Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, and Xeomin patients. We recommend that patients do not lie down for about 3 hours after their treatment, avoid steam rooms, sauna, and massage for 48 hours, and not rub the treated area. Icing is not usually recommended. In preparation for any injectable treatment it is a good idea to avoid blood thinning drugs such as aspirin for about one week prior to your treatment.
