Does adding PRP to the Profound Treatment on the face and neck, speed healing?
A.Excellent question. Initially I treated my Profound RF patients without PRP, currently we encourage all of our Profound RF patients to have PRP with their treatment. I agree with Dr. Treece that the healing time seems to be about the same, maybe a day or two sped up. The benefit that I see with PRP, since the Profound RF treatment has already made about 8000 micro-needle holes in the skin, is improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, tone, and texture of the skin. I believe that adding PRP to Profound RF is worth the small additional fee. Good luck and be well.
