Does hyalase damage your natural lips permanently?

Dr. Persky’s Reply: Hyaluronidase breaks down hyaluronic acid fillers as well as natural hyaluronic acid. It is best to be conservative with it when it is used to treat excess lip filler. Normally, in conservative doses there is no problem and original lip shape returns. I recommend waiting a few months before possibly refilling the lips if need be. Most important, be sure to choose your injecting physician very carefully. Good luck and be well.
