RealSelf actual patient comment:

I have another Emsculpt question. Think I’m gearing up to try it. Do you just refrain from exercising the body parts being treated during the two-week period but can do other exercise? So if getting abs and butt treated, avoid direct abwork and squats but could otherwise lift, run, and play sports during the 2 week treatment period? Thanks in advance!
A.Common sense is one of our greatest senses. It is fine to maintain your activities after Emsculpt treatments, but if specific anatomic muscle groups are targeted during the treatment, then those areas should be rested for a day or two. For instance if the buttocks are treated then squats can be avoided for a day. If the abdomen is treated then avoid crunches for a day or two. Running, yoga, golf, andscrabble are all okay following your Emsculpt treatments. As with any aesthetic procedure please be sure to choose your treating physiciancarefully based on their skill, knowledge, experience, and most importantly their natural artistic vision. Good luck and be well.
