Emsculpt: are there any side effects and what does it cost?
A.Our practice was fortunate to be one of the first practices in the world to use Emsculpt. Our patients and I have been very happy with Emsculpt. Before incorporating any technology or treatment in my practice it must be proven to be both safe and effective. Fortunately there have been no complications reported in the Emsculpt studies over the past year, and no clinical adverse events reported. It is important that your treating physician takes a complete medical history to insure that you are a candidate for Emsculpt. There are a few absolute contraindications to the treatment such as metal implants, pacemakers, and poor health to name a few. As long as you do not have any contraindications, Emsculpt is extremely safe and effective. As with any treatment, choose your treating physician most carefully. The cost ranges from $3000 to $4000 for either an abdominal or buttocks treatment. In our practice we will be offering better prices for patients who wish to maintain their results over time. We also work with our patients if they wish to pay per treatment it is about $750-$1000 depending on the treatment.Depending on the physician and practice, additional maintenancesessions of Emsculpt may be given at adiscounted cost.Good luck and be well.
