RealSelf actual patient comment:

I had Juvederm Ultra injected in my jaw today just under my ears. I would like to try Voluma next time. How long can I expect that to last? Would I be a candidate for that? How many ML should I go for?

A.You look great. Voluma is a longer lasting hyaluronic acid filler, lasting from 1 1/2 to 2 years in most patients. It is difficult to estimate how many ml your face would require, but you may begin with 1 ml per side, you can always add to it if needed. I would examine you in person and then make that decision. A special mix of Radiesse works well in the same area, it can last over a year, and it stimulates some natural volume production even after a year. Voluma is more expensive that Radiesse.
