I am interested in Emsculpt for my hands, butt, and thighs (I know thighs are off-label) is this a potential tightening solution
RealSelf actual patient comment:
What are reasonable expectations of this treatment, cost, the and number of sessions required? Does this help cellulite? I understand it is great for decreasing fat and building muscle. Is tightening of skin a reasonable result of doing that? I live in Palm Beach County FL.
A.Emsculpt is FDA approved for use on the buttocks and the abdomen. It builds muscle and can decrease fat when desired. It is not used on hands. Though off-label, it is being used to build thigh muscles. The tightening from Emsculpt is derived from the increased muscle mass, Emsculpt is not a “skin tightening” device. The cost of the treatment varies depending on the practitioner and the geographic location, in general a complete series of 4 sessions (1 session twice a week separated by 2 to 3 days for 2 weeks, a total of 4 sessions) costs from $3000 to $4500, individual sessions though not recommended are about $750 to $1125. It may help with cellulite, though Emsculpt is not a “cellulite” device. Our patients and staff have been very pleased with their Emsculpt results. Good luck and be well.
