I had a hip replacement in December 2017. Should I avoid Emsculpt? Could it damage the new joint with the energy waves?
A.Emsculpt may be used on patients with hip replacement. The electromagnetic energy should not be directed over the hips. Emsculpt should not be used immediately above any metal implants in the abdomen or buttocks. As with any procedure it is very important that you share with your treating physician any history of implants. Good luck and be well.
