I have 6 titanium screws at my L5-S1 lumber region and wonder if they will heat up during an abdominal Emsculpt?
A.Though metal implants are a contra-indication to having Emsculpt, many physicians have treated patients with titanium implants as titanium does not heat from electromagnetic energy. Check with your lumbar surgeon to make sure that you have no metallic implants. If your surgeon allows you to have a MRI after your back surgery then you should be safe to have Emsculpt treatments.
