I know I want the profile to look different same with the how wide it is and moderate refinement of the tip. the lateral side seems to be adding width. i’m out of my depth trying to understand how all of this works though. another thing I’ve been wondering is if I should weight until I lose weight before getting the surgery.

A.Since we only have your frontal image it is hard to say what should or can be done in terms of tip rotation, projection, or changes in your bridge.

On frontal view however, the width of your nosecan be subtly narrowed in the upper 2/3’rds and the tip can be refined to create more harmony and balance.

In terms of weight loss – this should have no impact on your nose and waiting for weight loss will not change the outcome of your operation.

I would recommend consultation with an expert rhinoplasty surgeon, Ari Hyman, MD whose rhinoplasty skills and results are superb. Dr. Hyman has recently joined our practice. After performing rhinoplasty for the past 35 years, I am so impressed and confident in Dr. Hyman’s results that he is performing all of the rhinoplasty surgeryin our practice.Good luck and be well.
