Is it safe to have under eye filler dissolved days prior to a Brazilian butt lift?
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: I have under eye filler I need to dissolve. If I have abdominal lipo with possible fat transfer to my hips, is it safe to use Hyaluronidase a few days before surgery? Is there a recommended time between dissolving filler and surgery? Also, when is it safe to add new filler to your face after this surgery? Should I wait for a specific amount of time to dissolve before/inject to face after.
Dr. Persky’s Reply: You may have eye filler dissolved anytime before or after surgery. It will allow you to recover from any bruising or swelling concurrently with your surgical recovery. Once any swelling and/or bruising has resolved around your eyes, you may have filler injections. I would wait at least two weeks after surgery or dental work to have more filler.
