Medi-Inject..Best treatment for fine lines/damaged skin in someone with atopic dermatitis? (photos)
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: I am 27, with atopic dermatitis that is mostly under control right now. The skin on my forehead seems really thin and deflated. Possible sun damage? I’ve added niacinamide, vitamin C, sunscreen, and peptides to my skincare routine, but am not seeing results so far. What are the best next steps to treat this texture issue? Introducing a retinoid? Microneedling? Some sort of laser? Injectables? Are any of those even safe for atopic dermatitis? I also have deep lines from making worried faces.
Dr. Persky’s Reply: I love treating my patients with a “skin booster” treatment using a automated injection system, Medi-Inject. With Medi-Inject technology I am able to inject about 10 ml of a cocktail into the skin of the face in a precise dose and placement level. We use a mixture of PRP (platelet rich plasma), hyaluronic acid filler, Vitamin C, Botox, and skin lightener. The micro-needles are adjustable as is the micro-volume injected uniformly. There is minimal downtime of 1-2 days, and the results are seen very soon after treatment. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Good luck and be well.
