RealSelf actual patient comment:

I had the Profound RF treatment 5-6 days ago. The swelling is still evident in my lower face and neck. My main concern is the skin under my neck is loose and jiggly like jello. It was not like this at all prior to the treatment. Will this go away? How long approximately?
A.It sounds as if your treating physician used the subdermal micro-needles which are inserted deep into the submental (double chin) fat to decrease fat and tighten the area. When this is performed with Profound RF it is normal to have swelling along with the jiggles. It is the same swelling and jiggling that we see in patients who are treated with Kybella injections. It does take some time (days to weeks)to resolve depending upon how aggressive your treatment. As with any question or concern following a procedure, it is best to contact your treating physician.Good luck and be well.
