Profound RF to lift jawline and treat wrinkles. How long does swelling last and can you apply makeup to cover bruising?

I’m inquiring about the profound treatment to lift my jawline & treat some wrinkles & sagging on my face …doesn’t this treatment remove fat cells? Will it make your face appear older & guant? I’ve read to drink water to flush the “dead” fat cells out …but that not really what I want to happen .. also..can you apply makeup to cover bruising & how long does the swelling really last?
A.Profound RF is a safe and effective non-surgical treatment for tightening and lifting the skin of the face and neck, including the jawline and wrinkles. The swelling is maximum about 48 hours after the treatment and resolves by 5 to 7 days. You may apply concealer make-up by day 4 or 5 to hide bruising. It is the bruising that takes from 7 to 14 days to resolve. The treatment of the skin does not remove fat. In patients who do have excessive fat under the chin or in the neck, a separate handpiece is used that penetrates 6mm to purposely reduce fat cells. I have not seen any patients appear older and gaunt after the treatment, only younger and tighter!!! As with any aesthetic procedure, you must choose your treating cosmetic physician carefully based on their experience, skill, knowledge, and most importantly their natural artistic vision.
