Profound RF vs Morpheus8 – how do these treatments differ in terms of depth of needles and RF energy power?

Dr. Persky’s Reply: Profound RF needles penetrate deeper and emit much more power than Morpheus 8 microneedles. They are both excellent technologies. Profound RF is more effective because of the depth and power of one treatment. Morpheus 8 requires multiple treatments. There is a longer recovery period (1 week) from Profound RF because of swelling and bruising, but results are better. Both treatments are uncomfortable, I usually sedate my patients for their Profound RF treatment, and often combine it with Sculptra, PRP, and a light laser to boot! Neither Profound RF or Morph8 are a “commodity” so it is essential to choose your treating physician carefully.
