Rhinoplasty, chin surgery, or both? Would just fixing my chin also fix my nose issue?
Looking for some insight on what treatments would be ideal based on my face shape. I’ve been unhappy with my side profile for quite some time now. I would love to have more of a jawline & I feel like my nose looks prominent in comparison to the other structures on my face which is not ideal. Would just fixing my chin also fix my nose issue? I’m struggling with what surgery to choose because I don’t want my face to look much longer on my front profile because I already have a long face.
A.A small chin implant will give the illusion of making your nose look smaller. If you choose to undergo surgery, you should definitely have a chin implant, whether to add rhinoplasty depends on how much your nose bothers you otherwise, and on your in person examination.Choose your surgeon very carefully after multiple consultations based on their skill, experience, knowledge, care, and most importantly their natural artistic vision. A few great rhinoplasty surgeons are Steven Pearlman, MD (New York), Dean Toriumi, MD (Chicago), and Ari Hyman, MD (Los Angeles.) Good luck and be well.
