Should I be more direct to the doctor when being treated with Botox?
RealSelf actual patient comment:
“I am 59. I’ve had Dysport and Botox and experienced the droop. I believe only the central glabella area should be treated not above my eyebrows. Last time I asked the doc not to do above my brows but she went ahead and did a couple injections just above the tail of my stronger side, hence droop. To get positive results, should I suggest she only do the glabella and possibly under (rather than over) the tail of my eyebrow to get a slight lift? Thank you for any help you can offer.”
A.Yes, you should definitely discuss what works and what doesn’t work for you with Botox. Everyone’s anatomy is unique, every injecting physician should assess the patient’s anatomy prior to treatment. If you are dissatisfied with your injector, make sure to choose your next doctor most carefully.
