Swelling of lower lids 6 moths after Botox – what is a good treatment option? (photo)
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: Hello. I had Botox injected directly into my lower lids last July. I developed swelling of the lower lids. The doctor who peformed the procedure indicated it would go away when the Botox effects wore off but the problem has persisted for 6 months though my crows feet are visible again. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this swelling can last this long and can anyone offer a good treatment/solution? Thank you!
Dr. Persky’s Reply: The effects of the Botox injections should have long worn off by now. I would recommend an in person evaluation by an expert injecting physician to determine your best course moving forward. Feel free to contact our office to schedule a complimentary consultation.
