RealSelf actual patient comment:

There is nothing symmetrical about my face. It has never bother me until it got worse and way more noticeable as I have gotten older (I am 25). It could be due to pregnancy/weight loss, spending more time outside due to running, aging, dental work, clicking jaw that has gotten worse over the year. Anyways, my main concerns are my uneven lips/corner of mouth, volume loss and unevenness in my mid face, and my jawline/double chin. What do you suggest to help with this? Thank you!
A.The best procedure to treat the aspects of your ethnic nose that bother you would be a rhinoplasty, best likely via an “open” approach. Injections of filler on the top of your nose (profile) may give an illusion of a thinner nose, but cannot address your nostrils. I would advise consulting with a few rhinoplasty experts. As with any aesthetic treatment it is essential to choose your treating physician carefully based on their experience, skill, knowledge, care, and most importantly their natural artistic vision. A few great rhinoplasty surgeons that I would recommend are Raj Kanodia, MD (Beverly Hills), Ari Hyman, MD (Encino), and Dean Toriumi, MD (Chicago). Good luck and be well.
