What if it takes longer than 2 weeks to complete 4 sessions?

I had my first 2 sessions as planned, 3 days apart. My 3rd session was supposed to be Thursday, but was rescheduled to Monday because the EmSculpt machine was not working. Now my Monday appt has to be rescheduled because the technician won’t be there. I have to travel for a week for work. There will be 2 weeks between my 2nd and 3rd sessions. Can I still get the results I was originally expecting? It feels unfair given that the doctor’s rescheduling. What should I do?
A.The studies on Emsculpt were done with patients having 4 sessions a few days apart over a 2 week period. We do not have enough information to tell you whether your delay in treatment sessions will affect your ultimate outcome. Since the delay was due to no fault of your own, It would be reasonable to ask your provider to give you a standard series of treatments. Since the machine was down, the company should be able to reimburse the physician the cost of running the machine. Good luck and be well.
