What is wrong with my eyes? Are these little blobs actually the filler? (Photos)
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: Could it have migrated this close to my eyes? Recently had Juvederm placed in my lips, nasolabial folds and under my eyes. I’m 48. First time ever getting filler and I’m really regretting it. I’m so distraught. Want to have it dissolved but have heard horror stories about HA. Plus it’s so close to my eyes. I would only consider seeing a doctor experienced with dissolving fillers around the eyes. Are there even doctors that inject anymore? Or do most have aestheticians? Any advice is appreciated.
Dr. Persky’s Reply: Sorry for your bad filler experience. I perform all injections in my patients, yes, there still are facial plastic surgeons who perform filler injections without relegating injection patients to non-MD injectors. In your case, it appears that your have been undertreated, I would recommend additional strategic filling by an expert injector to correct your concerns. I would personally use Sculptra with a bit of Restylane in your under eye hollows. Feel free to contact us for a FaceTime virtual consult to answer any further questions or concerns. Choose your injecting physician most carefully. Good luck and be well.
