RealSelf actual patient comment:

Post surgery I noticed a huge bump on the side of my nose, which feels like hard bone so there is nothing to do to fix it. Its more vissable in certain lightings&makes the front of my nose look crooked. I know to fix it would require me to go under the knife again, but I’m happy with my side profile, it’s just the front which now looks crooked post surgery. Been over one yr all my swellings gone down so I know the bump won’t either. It’s permanent unless I do something. What are my best options?

A.It appears that your nasal bone moved laterally after your osteotomies (breakage of nasal bones.) Depending upon your physical examination, a one sided lateral osteotomy may correct your deformity. Speak with your rhinoplasty surgeon, or consult with a rhinoplasty expert. Good luck and be well!
