RealSelf actual patient comment:

I just received ultheraphy by someone other than the dr. i consulted with. I dont know if she is a nurse or esthetician? can anyonebe trained to use this device? Who is qualified to do Ultherapy? In between breaks she said that she loves this machine because theres no guess work. After treatment she advised getting mircroneedling to get rid of crepiness. I thought the treatment was going to get rid of that? After reading some comments on here I see that other treatments help the neck look tighter. what would you recommend?
A.Ultherapy is a good non-invasive device treatment for lifting and tightening the skin of the face, neck, and jawline. I encourage my patients to combine Sculptra injections as well as microneedling with PRP for optimal rejuvenation results. I personally treat all of our Ultherapy patients as it is important to customize Ultherapy treatment to each individual patient’s anatomy by reading the ultrasound screen. Most practices delegate the treatment to peripheral office staff. As with any aesthetic treatment it is essential to choose your treating physician carefully based on their experience, skill, knowledge, care, and most importantly their natural artistic vision. Good luck and be well.
