Will loose skin after septorhinoplasty go away by the 12 month mark & how to reverse it? (Photos)
Actual RealSelf Patient Comment:I had septorhinoplasty 4 and a half months ago. After surgery, my skin became too loose, which makes my face look like it is drooping, adding at least 10 years to my face(I am 33). See the pictures. Will the issue go away by the 12 mo mark. Is there anything that can be done to reverse this effect(besides plastic surgery)? I have thick skin but I don’t see any improvement over time…the problem becomes worse. Thank you
Dr. Persky’s Reply: We begin to lose facial boney volume from age 25 on. It appears that you would benefit from a small amount of volume. I would treat you with one vial of strategically placed Sculptra which would take care of your concerns. Unfortunately, I do not believe that your hollows will improve over time without a bit of volume replacement. Be sure to have an expert physician take care of you. Feel free to contact me with any further questions. Good luck and be well.
