RealSelf actual patient comment:

I had 1 syringe of volbella injected under each eye (total of 2 syringes) 8 days ago. This is my second time having filler. First time 1 year ago with no side effects. This time there are bumps under each eye that have yet to go away. My doctor said to give it 2 weeks. Is this a standard reaction? Should this smooth out within another week? Thanks in advance for any input.
A.Sorry that you are having an adverse reaction to your recent Volbella injections in your under eye hollows area. This is not a standard reaction. I would advise revisiting your treating physician for evaluation and treatment. The most important aspect of facial filler injections is to choose your injecting physician most carefully based on their experience, skill, knowledge, and natural artistic vision. I hope that your complication from the injections resolves very soon. If your injector is unable to help you, then you should seek out help from an expert filler injecting physician. Good luck and be well.
