00.01 – Introduction to cost of Rhinoplasty
00.35 – Factors affecting the cost of Rhinoplasty
01.27 – Choosing the Rhinoplasty surgeon
Many patients want to know how much does Rhinoplasty cost. In my practice, at the end of the consultation, when usually I say “Are there any other questions you would like to know about” that comes out – what it’s going to cost. And my answer to that is that you have to speak to my Office Manager because I don’t talk about the cost of Rhinoplasty.
But since we are doing this for information purposes, I take that the cost of Rhinoplasty varies depending on the experience of the surgeon, the location of the surgeon geographically, and the extent of surgery that is required as well as the length of time that the patient is going to be under anesthetic in the operating room. So there is really three fees – there is the surgeon’s fee, the anestheologist’s fee and the operating room fee. So the cost of Rhinoplasty can vary anywhere from $5000 to and I have seen colleagues who charge up to $20,000. They say that a woman will pay $18,000 for a Gucci purse, why wouldn’t they pay $20,000 for a nose for the rest of their life.
I think cost is important but it really should not be the deciding factor in choosing your Rhinoplasty surgeon. Your nose is in the mid of your face for the rest of your life. It amazes me sometimes that many patients take more time choosing the color of the interior of the car or the exterior of the car than they will in choosing their Rhinoplasty surgeon. So other cost is important, I think that there are other factors that are a lot more important in choosing your Rhinoplasty surgeon.
