I was recently privileged and honored when asked to present “What is Beauty?…Beauty Secrets” at State of the Art in Facial Aesthetics 2013 in Atlanta, GA. In the months of preparation prior to the presentation I researched many sources of beauty, one which was TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Conference talks. I was surprised at how few presentations are available on the topic of beauty, particularly the science of human facial aesthetics. Now that I have presented “What is Beauty?…Beauty Secrets” to fellow core aesthetic physicians, I hope to someday present the talk at a TED Conference.
One of the best presentations that I have had the opportunity to see was given by Steve Dayan, MD (facial plastic surgeon, Chicago, IL) entitled “Subliminal Beauty”. Dr. Dayan would be a worthy addition to any TED Conference.
