How are Venus Freeze™ and Ultherapy® Similar?
Both of these non-surgical treatments restore more youthful lines by heating the skin, underlying connective tissue, and muscles. Venus Freeze™/Venus Legacy™ uses heat to stimulate the production of collagen and other proteins within the skin. Ultherapy® uses heat to stimulate the increased production of collagen while simultaneously causing contraction of the SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system) which in turn lifts the neck and face without surgery (“The Judy Jetson Facelift of the Future”).

How Are These Procedures Performed?

Ultherapy® also applies a gel to protect the area. During the procedure, you most likely feel some tingling while the ultrasound energy is being released.
