Points from the video:
00:05 – Dr Persky recommends medications to stop before cosmetic surgery;
00: 38 – He discusses the safest thing for pain relief can be Tylenol;
Prior to cosmetic surgery or even some non-invasive treatments such as injections, fillers and other things; we ask our patients to stop aspirin, aspiring products, anything that is anti-inflammatory, we ask patients to stop advil, motrin, fish oil, there are certain supplements…actually prior to surgery, there is a long list of supplements we ask patients to start taking.
The safest thing to take for discomfort or pain, prior to surgery is Tylenol. So patients who feel that they need some pain relief, we allow them to take Tylenol.
