Points from the video:
00: 07- Introduction to Voluma
00:28- What sets volume apart from other fillers
01:27- How volume is similar to juvederm or restillin
We’ve had other fillers that we have used in mid face and cheek area before but what I think really sets Voluma apart from the others is the fact that it is supposed to last up to 24 months and that is unprecedented in terms of the other fillers we have out there right now. The other thing that I like about Voluma is that it has a very natural looking quality to it and you don’t leave the office looking more swollen than you will once everything settles down. So what you see at the end of treatment is pretty much what you’re going to get.
And the results are going to last up to 24 months as long as you have optimal treatment. The third thing that I really like about Voluma is that it is hyaluronic acid-based and so it is very similar to Juvederm or restillin in that its hyaluronic acid, and if whatever reason you don’t like it, you can dissolve it with a simple injection of an enzyme. So it means it has the safety blanket built in so that it you don’t like it, you can always dissolve it and you’re not stuck with it for months or years at a time waiting for it to go away on its own
